Seven prominent figures of Bangladesh were honoured with “Bangla Academy Fellowship -2022” for their contributions to different sectors.
In a press release by Bangla Academy's Public Relations Office on Wednesday, the names of the recipients of “Bangla Academy Honorary Fellowship-2022” have been announced.
The recipients of the fellowship are - Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique (Education), Prof Mohammad Ali Reza Khan (Science), Prof Md Zakir Hossain (Medicine), Nasir Ali Mamun (Photography), Hamiduzzaman Khan (Sculpture/Painting), Jayanta Chattopadhyay (Culture) and Dr Selina Hayat Ivy (Social Services).
The “Bangla Academy Honorary Fellowship-2022” will be officially given at the 45th annual meeting of the General Council of Bangla Academy on Friday, the press release said.
