A fire broke out in a cotton warehouse in Sreepur of Gazipur on Thursday.
Deputy Assistant Director of Gazipur Fire Service Abdullah-Al Arefin confirmed the incident and said that the fire started in the semi pucca cotton warehouse of SBS Textile Mills Limited factory.
On information, three units of fire service went to the spot to bring the fire under control.
Four more units from nearby Kapasia and Gazipur have left for the spot.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damages and casualties are yet to be known, he added.
