Meanwhile, Simeen Hussain Rimi, daughter of Bangladesh's wartime prime minister Tajuddin Ahmad and lawmaker from the Gazipur-4 constituency was made the presidium member of the Awami league.
Jahanara Begum was named as the women's affairs secretary of the Awami League central committee.
