Taking a break from state and party affairs, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana Siddiq spent their holiday morning catching fish.
The official Facebook page of Bangladesh Awami League on Friday posted three photos of their happy moments where Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her sister were seen fishing.
“In spite of being busy with state and party work, any holiday of the month is a joy for Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family. Especially if her younger sister, Sheikh Rehana, is there,” reads the post.
“The two sisters took a fishing hook and went fishing. Some big fishes were also caught in their fishing hooks,” the post reads.
“Best wishes for Bangabandhu's two daughters,” added the post.
Meanwhile, MM Emrul Kayas, assistant press secretary to the prime minister told Dhaka Tribune on Friday that the big chital fish was caught one week ago.
Bangladesh Awami League page posted the picture on Friday, and it has gone viral on social media, he added.
He added that the fish was caught from the lake inside the Ganabhaban, the official residence of the prime minister.
