Gonoshasthaya Kendra (GK) Founder and Trustee Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury said that police are beating up and shooting people in Manikganj, Narayanganj and Rangpur without any reason.
He said: “Now police are beating up people for no reason. Who gave them the right to shoot? What is happening in Manikganj, Narayanganj, Rangpur? Is this a picture of Bangladesh?”
Zafrullah was speaking in a seminar on Saturday.
The Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder said: “If we start a rebellion, the country will face a revolutionary change in only 15 months”.
This seminar was organized to observe the seventh death anniversary of the chairman of Jatiya Party and freedom fighter Kazi Jafar Ahmed.
