As many as three people, including two cousins, died by electrocution in Bhairab upazila of Kishoreganj on Friday, said police.
The deceased were identified as Deb Lal, 15, his cousin Milon Lal, 30, of the upazila, and Mobarak Hossain, 25, of Sunamganj.
Besides, three others-- Abdullah, Sunny and Akash-- were injured in the incident.
The victims were electrocuted while moving an electric pole on the road in the municipality area of the upazila, said Md Golam Mostafa, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bhairab police station.
Later, the locals rushed them to the Bhairab Upazila Health Complex where the doctor declared three of them dead on arrival, the OC added.
