The children of tea workers studying in Dhaka University held protest program on Sunday evening demanding Tk300 wages for their parents.
The workers of 241 tea gardens across the country went on a full-scale strike on August 13 .
On Saturday, general tea garden workers rejected a proposed Tk25 daily wage hike and vowed to continue their movement for Tk300 a day.
