Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar on Saturday said a record number of mobile SIMs went out of Dhaka in a single day on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
He made the announcement in a Facebook post on Saturday afternoon.
“Of these, 1.5 million are from Grameenphone, 9,75,613 from Robi, 8,49,460 from Banglalink and 1,22,327 from Teletalk,” he added.
