Instructions have been given to ensure round-the-clock ATM service, rectification of technical faults in the booths at the earliest, and other security measures including vigilance of guards at the booths.

Banks have also been asked to take measures to ensure round-the-clock POS services, to make merchants and customers aware to prevent fraud.

In addition, instructions have been given to implement the card-based Card Not Present system in the case of e-payment gateways and the Two Factor Authentication system in the case of account transactions.

All banks and their associated companies providing Mobile Financial Services (MFS) like Bkash, Rocket and Nagad have been asked to ensure seamless transactions. In this case, the transaction information of any amount should be informed to the customer through SMS alert service.
