A seminar on modern cancer treatment and awareness was held in collaboration with the Directorate General of Medical Services and Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on Thursday.
The seminal was held at the Army Golf Club in Dhaka Cantonment, said a press release by Inter-Services Public Relations.
Chief of Army Staff (CAS) of the Bangladesh Army Sheikh Mohammad Shafiuddin Ahmed was present as the chief guest at the event.
CourtesyMohammad Ebadul Karim Bulbul, from Brahmanbaria-5, was present as a special guest.
Director General of Directorate General of Medical Services Major General AKM Musa Khan, shared knowledge and experience on cancer treatment and awareness.
The seminar also highlighted the latest innovations in cancer treatment and the unprecedented development of CMH Dhaka.
The chief guest, Sheikh Mohammad Shafiuddin Ahmed, in his speech, appreciated the significant role of the Bangladesh Army in cancer treatment.
Consultant Physician General, Major General Md Azizul Islam in his presentation highlighted the progress and contribution of the Bangladesh Army in cancer treatment and the fight against the disease.
