Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan on Saturday said that it will be possible to operate train service from Kamalapur to Jessore crossing Padma bridge via Bhanga by June 30 next year.
“Our team is making the impossible task possible,” said the minister.

He came up with the information while he was inaugurating the construction work of the railway line from Bagail Y Rail Junction in Bhanga to Jessore via Narail at 11am on Saturday.
The minister also said: “We have already done a trial run from Bhanga to Mawa and will be able to do a trial run from Mawa to Kamalapur railway station in the first week of August.”
Then, in the coming month of September, the prime minister will officially inaugurate the rail service from Bhanga to Kamalapur railway station by crossing the Padma Bridge.
The minister said that the second part of the 172km road from Bhanga to Jessore has been made suitable for trial.
“We will inaugurate the trial laying work from Bhanga to Jessore soon to make it suitable for train operation by June next year.”
“I will cross the Madhumati Bridge and visit that bank,” added the minister.
The railway minister first inaugurated the second part of the Bhanga-Jessore section railway line under the Padma Bridge Rail Link Project by blowing balloons and cutting the ribbon, attending the inauguration program as chief guest.
