The police recovered the hanging body of a Rajshahi University student from his room at a local hostel on Friday night.
The deceased was Tanvir Islam Ritu, from Nilphamari's Kanchanhat village. He was a student of the Public Administration Department's 2020-21 session.
Motihar police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Mofizul Islam said: "A suicide note was found in the room with the body. But the exact cause of death is yet to be known."
