The new British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Sarah Cooke, has presented her credentials on Thursday to Mohammed Shahabuddin in a ceremony at Bangabhaban.
She served as head of the UK aid agency in Dhaka, DFID, between 2012 and 2016.
Before taking up her new assignment, she was at the British foreign office in London as the head of the South East Asia Department.
Before that, she was the British high commissioner of Dar es Salaam.
She joined there in 2016 completing her Dhaka assignment as the DFID head.
