A mild cold wave is sweeping across Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and the districts of Faridpur, Madaripur, Manikgonj, Moulvibazar, Comilla, Feni, Jessore, Chuadanga, Kushtia, Barisal and Bhola, while it may abate in some places.
The weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies across the country, the met office said on Friday.
Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere from midnight to morning and it may continue till noon at places.
Night and day temperatures may rise slightly throughout the country.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded at 30.2 degrees Celsius in Teknaf and the lowest temperature on Friday was 8 degrees Celsius in Dinajpur.
