Postponed SSC exams: Dinajpur board announces new schedule

The SSC examination on four subjects under the board were postponed due to question paper leaks

The new schedule for the four postponed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams of Dinajpur board has been published.

According to a notice of the board, the subjective part of the exam will be held from October 10 to 15.

Besides, the practical exams will be held from October 16 to 20, according to the notice published on Thursday. 

Necessary steps already have been taken to print the question papers of the postponed subjects, according to a source of the board.

Earlier on September 20, the SSC examination on four subjects under the board was postponed due to question paper leaks.

The four subjects are: Mathematics, Physics, Agricultural Science and Chemistry.

A three-member probe committee was also formed to investigate the leak incident.

On Tuesday night, three school teachers, including a headmaster, were arrested in Kurigram for their alleged role in the question papers leak during the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams.

The arrestees are--Lutfur Rahman, the headmaster and secretary of Bhurungamari Nehal Uddin Pilot High School, and two assistant teachers of the school, Zubaiyer Hossain and Aminur Rahman.

Meanwhile, three more people were apprehended in Kurigram on Wednesday in connection with the leak of question papers.

The arrestees are--Hamidul Islam, an assistant teacher of agricultural science, Sohel Chowdhury, assistant teacher of Bangla at Bhurungamari Nehal Uddin Pilot High School and a peon of the school, Sujon.
