Prominent business entrepreneur Suzadur Rahman has recently been elected as the Vice Chairman of Prime Insurance Company Limited.
The election took place at the 26th annual general meeting of the company—presided over by re-elected chairman Md Nazrul Islam, according to a media statement on Sunday.
Suzadur is a director of Padma Oil Company Ltd –the largest oil company in Bangladesh.
He is also a consultant for World Bank, IFC and FCDO (Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office), read the statement.
He is a convener of Infrastructure and Hi-Tech Park at Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (Basis) and also served as an independent director of Fareast Islami life Insurance Company Ltd.
A successful and renowned entrepreneur, Suzadur was a distinguished member of Bangladesh Bridge Federation (BBF).
He is the founding chairman of G7 Securitas Ltd–a leading security service provider in Bangladesh.
He also serves as the chairman of King Consultants Ltd, the managing director of Mindlabz Ltd and the proprietor of M/S SS Enterprise.
An alumnus of Dhaka University, he holds a double masters in both Accounting Information System (AIS) and Health Economics.
