Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Tuesday arrested Henolux Group Managing Director Nurul Amin and his wife Fatema Amin in a case filed over the suicide of former Bangladesh Chhatra League leader Gazi Anis.
Commander Khandaker Al Moin, director of the RAB's Law and Media wing, confirmed the matter to Bangla Tribune.
Earlier on Tuesday, Anis’s brother Nazrul Islam filed the case with Shahbag police, said Sub Inspector Golam Hossain.

Gazi Anis, former president of Kushtia District Chhatra League and a contractor by profession, attempted suicide by setting himself on fire at the National Press Club on Monday.
He succumbed to his injuries around 6:10am on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
Mohammad Ali, an acquaintance of Anis, said he attempted suicide for not getting the money that people owed him.

Two months ago, he also staged a human chain in front of the press club claiming that a microcredit company owed him around Tk1.26 crore.
According to the case, accused Nurul Amin and his wife Fatema Amin convinced Anis to invest Tk1 crore, assuring him of hefty profits in 2018. Later, he invested another Tk26 lakh.
The accused now owe Anis over Tk3 crore which has prompted him to file a case against him at Kushtia Cognizance Court.
Nazrul Islam said that he received a call from his brother on Monday saying that Nurul and Fatima had assured him of returning the money through cheques that day but did not.
