A fire that broke out at a commercial building in Dhaka's Bijoynagar area on Saturday has been doused.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
The fire started around 11.40am at the multi-storey commercial building "Zaman Tower" in Purana Paltan’s Bijoynagar area, officials said.
"Four fire tenders have been pressed into service," said Md Shahjahan Shikdar, deputy assistant director (media cell) of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
The fire was brought under control around 11.58am.
"The origin of the fire is yet to be ascertained," the officer said.
