Bangladesh Army chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed on Monday morning left for the UAE on a two-day official visit.
General Shafiuddin will hold bilateral meetings with army chief of the UAE and discuss bilateral relations and mutual cooperation between the armies of the two countries during the visit, the Inter-Service Public Relations Directorate said in a statement.
General Shafiuddin will also attend the coveted International Dubai Air Show-2021 in the UAE capital.
The Army chief is scheduled to return home November 18, the directorate said.
