Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Saturday returned home from New Delhi, India following a regular health check-up.
Quader, who is also the Awami League’s general secretary, had left for the Indian capital on February 21, reports BSS.
In 2019, he was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University due to breathing complications.
Doctors found three blockages in his coronary arteries following an angiogram.
He was flown to Singapore for better treatment on the advice of renowned Indian cardiologist Dr Devi Shetty, and underwent a bypass surgery in March 2019 at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
Quader was hospitalized again with chest pain in December last year and got discharged after 12 days.
