A Belarusian worker was found dead in his room at Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant's residential part Green City in Pabna’s Ishwardi upazila on Wednesday night.
The deceased is Hancharao Aliaksandra, 58. He was working for the Russian contractor Nikimot-Atmstro.
According to sources, Aliaksandra’s room was locked from inside and he was not responding for a long time. At one point, his neighbours broke into his room and found him dead, reports a correspondent from Pabna.

Ruhul Kuddus, site in-charge of Rooppur project, said Aliaksandra has probably died from a heart attack.
Confirming the incident, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ishwardi police station Asaduzzaman Asad said arrangements were being made to keep the body in the cold storage of Pabna General Hospital.
Later it will be sent to the respective country through the embassy concerned, he added.
