The government had prohibited erecting arches on both sides of the road stretching from Gabtoli to the National Martyrs’ Memorial at Savar in Dhaka during the celebration of Victory Day on December 16.
The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs elaborated the restriction and asked all citizens to abide by it, an official release said.
Posters, banners and festoons can be placed in a limited scale maintaining safer distance.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Tuesday said there will be no events in open space on the occasion of the Victory Day this year because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
