The Grand Finale and Grand Award Ceremony of the Hult Prize took place on Friday at Chittagong University (CU).
The Hult Prize at CU organized an "On Campus Round" this year. After a stiff competition, only 6 teams out of 321 teams were able to present their unique ideas on the final round.
Professor Dr Shireen Akhter, vice-chancellor at CU was present as chief guest at the Grand Award Ceremony.
This year, 321 teams consisting of 1,100 students registered for On Campus Round and on the basis of team registration, CU stood 2nd on the world's Hult Prize billboard – first time in history.

The 6 finalists were teams THE DYNAMITES, OPTIMUM, WINTERFELL, PETARDS, Corporate Pirates. All the teams presented their business idea regarding this year's challenge "Food For Good." Teams THE DYNAMITES, OPTIMUM, and WINTERFELL won the top three spots.
The Hult Prize is an annual, year-long competition that crowd-sources ideas from MBA and college students after challenging them to solve a pressing social issue around topics such as food security, water access, energy, and education.
Bohubrihi and Skillhub were e-Learning partners, while New Vision Information Technology (NVIT) was the corporate learning partner.
Dhaka Tribune, The Business Standard, Bonik Barta, Dainik Purbokone, Risingbd, and Chattogram Tribune were the media partners.
