3 Bangladeshis killed in road crash in Saudi Arabia

The microbus carrying them, collided head on with another, while they were headed for work, leaving two dead on the spot and two others injured

Three Bangladeshi nationals were killed and another was injured as two microbuses collided head on in Taif Turbah area of Saudi Arabia on Thursday morning.

The deceased, all hailing from Sylhet, were identified as Mashuk Ahmmed, 35, son of Abdul Khaleque, and Abdus Shukkur, 32, son of Nur Ahmmad, of Kuwrermati village at Satbakh union in Kanaighat upazila and microbus driver Siraj Uddin, 40, from Gangarjal village of Jakiganj upazila.

Meanwhile, injured Jalal Ahmmed, 39, from Bayampur village in Kanaighat municipality, is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Saudi Arabia.

Quoting victims’ family members, Kanaighat Satbakh Union Council Chairman Abdul Mannan confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.

The microbus carrying them collided head on with another, while they were headed for work, leaving two dead on the spot and two others injured.

Later, locals took the injured to a Saudi Hospital but one of the injured succumbed to his injuries there.
