The date for filing the investigation report in the case filed against six people, including former DU Central Students' Union (Ducsu) vice president (VP) Nurul Haque Nur, has been pushed back to November 25.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ilias Mia rescheduled the date, originally set for November 4, as the investigation officer failed to submit the report within the deadline.
Sub-Inspector of Police Swapan, the general registration officer of the concerned police station, confirmed the information, reports Bangla Tribune.

Earlier on September 20, a student of Dhaka University filed a case against ex-Ducsu VP Nur, along with five others, for abetting rape.
According to the case dockets, the reported rape incident took place on January 3 this year, when the prime accused Hasan Al Mamun, convener of Bangladesh Students’ Rights Council, allegedly raped the victim.
The others, accused of abetting the crime, are Nazmul Hassan Shohag and Md Saiful Islam, joint conveners of Bangladesh Students’ Rights Council, Nazmul Huda, vice president of the organization’s DU unit, and Abdullah Hil Baki, a student of the university and an activist of the organization, who spearhead the quota reforms movement in 2018.

The reported victim is a postgraduate student of the university’s Department of Islamic Studies and is also a member of the same student body led by Mamun.
On September 21, another case was filed by the same plaintiff against the same six men, alleging kidnapping, rape, abetting rape.
On October 14, a third case was filed by the plaintiff against Nur under the Digital Security Act (DSA) for calling her “characterless” on Facebook Live.
