US-Bangla Airlines, one of the private commercial airlines in Bangladesh, is currently operating its flights to 13 destinations at home and abroad with its 13 aircrafts in compliance with health regulations amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The private carrier has been operating domestic and international flights since July 17, 2014, focusing on passenger services, a press release said on Saturday.
During the pandemic, the airline has started operating flights on all domestic routes from June 1 giving priority to health care.
In addition, US-Bangla Airlines is operating short-haul flights from Dhaka to Guangzhou, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Muscat, and Doha in compliance with state decisions of different countries.
The carrier also plans to operate flights to Kolkata, Chennai, and Bangkok as per the state decision, it said.
At present, brand new ATR 72-600 aircrafts are operating flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Sylhet, Cox's Bazar, Jessore, Syedpur, Rajshahi, and Barisal. It also operates 164-seater Boeing 737-800 aircrafts on international routes.
The US-Bangla Airlines fleet includes four Boeing 737-800s, six ATR 72-600s, and three Dash 8-Q400s.
The airline is providing all types of healthcare items especially gloves, masks, and face shields while traveling on domestic routes, the press statement said.
Besides, US-Bangla is also offering holiday packages to various domestic destinations including Cox's Bazar.
