The government has promoted 98 officials of admin cadre who were performing as joint secretaries to the rank of additional secretary.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Saturday morning.
According to the Public Administration Ministry, the newly promoted officials have been made officers on special duty (OSD). They have not been posted yet.
