Govt Eid bonuses and salary-allowances to be paid on June 20

The government has decided to disburse the eid bonuses, salary-allowances and pensions of 2.1 million civil servants and half a million pensioners on June 20 this month. The Treasury and Credit Management Wings of the Ministry of Finance issued a circular to this effect on Tuesday, signed by Finance Division Deputy Secretary Mufizuddin Ahmed. According to the circular, Eid-al-Fitr is likely to be celebrated on June 26 on condition of the new moon being sighted. As a result, the government has decided to disburse salaries and allowances along with Eid bonuses and pensions on June 20 . The Treasury and Credit management wings of the Finance Ministry has already asked the controller general of audit and controller general of defiance to take the necessary measures to disburse the salaries and bonuses on the specified date.
