The IGW Operators Forum (IOF) on Sunday provided a freezer ambulance to the Quantum Foundation, a voluntary organization to facilitate the transportation of dead bodies during the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic in Bangladesh.
Brig Gen Md Abdul Hannan (Retd), member of executive committee and Mushfique Manzoor, chief operating officer of IGW Operators Forum (IOF) handed over the freezer van to Nurul Kabir Siddiqui, adviser to Quantum Foundation at a ceremony in the capital, said a press release.
IOF participates in various community development activities as part of its social responsibility.
As part of its social development work in the current Covid-19 pandemic, the organization has provided the Quantum Foundation with a freezer van to help carry dead bodies.
Officials of IOF present at the program said: “We are delighted to be able to hand over the freezer van to the Quantum Foundation during the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic in the country.”
