A virtual discussion on strengthening the US-Bangladesh trade and commercial corridor has been held on Wednesday.

The US Chamber of Commerce’s US-Bangladesh Working Group organized the event in view of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) situation, reports BSS.

Prime Minister’s Private Industry and Investment Advisor Salman F Rahman, State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak, PM’s Principal Secretary Dr Ahmad Kaikaus, Bangladesh Ambassador to the USA Md Ziauddin, US Ambassador in Dhaka Earl R Miller, and Senior Vice President of South Asia, US Chamber of Commerce Nisha Biswal, took part in the discussion among others,.

More than 100 Bangladesh and US business organizations and firms joined the program on the digital platform.

The dialogue provided an opportunity to hear from industry leaders on topics including business continuity best practices, new growth and investment scopes, redesigning supply chains and logistics, and broader economic recovery and rejuvenation in Bangladesh.
