SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh gets new national director

Dr Enamul has been working for children rights for the last 15 years

SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh, a non-government social development organization, has got a new national director.

The 48-year-old organization appointed Dr Md Enamul Haque as the new national director after its former national director, Ghulam Ahmed Ishaque, retired.

Dr Enamul has been working for children rights for the last 15 years. He was awarded with the “Hermann Gmeiner Award” ‘for his contribution in the humanitarian and social fields for the people of Bangladesh

“I look forward to focusing on positively transforming the lives of the children who have no parental care and whose vulnerability is invisible,” said the new national director.

SOS Children's Villages International is the umbrella organization of all SOS Children's Village associations worldwide. It provides family-based care for children in 134 countries and advocates on the concerns, rights and needs of children, especially of those without parental care.
