Bodies of 3 Bangladesh citizens to be sent home from NY

The bodies of three Bangladesh nationals, who died in a car crash in the USA, will be sent home from New York on Tuesday night. The namaj-e-janaza of the three deceased will be held at Jamaica Muslim Center (JMC) after the Zuhr prayers on Tuesday, Bangladesh Consul General in New York Shameem Ahsan said as quoted by UNB. Representatives from the consulate will participate at the janaza, he said, adding that First Secretary of the Consul General of Bangladesh in New York Shamim Hossain had already visited the houses of the three victims and met the injured at the hospital. Shameem Ahsan further said that hospital authorities had been requested to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured national, while the Consulate was working to gather required paperwork for transfer of the bodies as soon as possible. Three Bangladeshi expatriates - Shamsul Islam, 61, Ataur R Dulal, 34, and Raihan Islam, 28 - were killed and another injured critically in a car crash at Northern State Parkway near New York City, USA, on Saturday.
