The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted that rain with gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places across Bangladesh in the next 24 hours.
“Rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places of the Khulna division; and in one or two places of Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Barisal divisions,” read a met office bulletin issued on Wednesday.
Day temperature may fall slightly over the country, according to the met release, while night temperature may rise slightly over the north-western part.
It also may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere across Bangladesh, reports BSS.
The country’s maximum rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6 am on Wednesday, was recorded at 20 millimeters (mm) at Khepupara under Patuakhali district.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded as 34.5°C at Khepupara, and the lowest one was 19.0°C at Tetulia under Panchagarh district.
In Dhaka, the sun should set at 5:26pm on Wednesday, and rise at 6am on Thursday.
