A Bangladeshi man was shot dead by miscreants in Libya, in an incident that took place on Saturday, the victim’s family confirmed to Dhaka Tribune.
The deceased was Jahangir Alam, 20, son of Koisor Ali from Beanibazar, Sylhet.
He was living in Libya for the last three years.
Jahangir’s uncle Chonu Miah said: “We were informed by his acquaintances in Libya about his demise. His body is in the custody of the Bangladesh Embassy in Libya. We are in communication with the embassy to bring his body back home.”
