Bishwo Shahitto Kendro Chairman Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed has been hospitalised after he slipped and fell in front of Sundarbans Hotel in Kawranbazar area of Dhaka.
“The road was slippery after rain on Saturday. Sir slipped while getting on his car crossing the road,” his personal secretary Alamgir Shahriar told the Dhaka Tribune on Sunday.
“We rushed him to Samorita Hospital.
“Doctors said sir might have to go through surgery due to an injury on his waist. We hope he will recover soon,” he added.
