Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed has attended the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (Bimstec) seminar in Pune India.
General Aziz spoke at the seminar titled “Possibility of Creating Viable Regional Security Architecture to Deal with Threats – Terrorism and Transnational Crime,” on Saturday.
The seminar was held during a seven-day Multinational Field Training Enterprize (MILEX), started on Monday (September 10).
All the army chiefs of Bimstec member countries attended the seminar.
Bimstec member countries include- Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
