Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will go to Tungipara, Gopalganj on Saturday to offer special prayers at the grave of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The visit will take place in the morning, the prime minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said.
Hasina will join a munajat (prayer) there seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of her father, Bangabandhu.
She will also place a wreath there to pay homage to the great leader and architect of independent Bangladesh.
