Nasim: BNP lost due to alliance with Jamaat

After meeting the leaders of the alliance, Nasim held a press briefing at the party's office in Dhanmondi on Sunday morning. He said: “People do not take BNP's alliance with Jamaat positively.” Addressing BNP, he asked them to leave Jamaat and work according to the spirit of the Liberation War. Lauding the recent NCC election as exemplary, he added the next national polls in 2019 – to be held under the incumbent government – will be as transparent. He also said: “Even if BNP continuous to spread ridiculous allegations regarding the NCC election, all the NCC participants have acknowledged that it was beyond reproach.” It is BNP's nature to turn any good achievement controversial, he further opined.
