PM’s emergency landing: Dhaka court asks for police report by January 12

The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Golam Nabi asked the Airport police to submit the report by January 12. MAM Asaduzzaman, director of Bangladesh Biman (engineering and management), filed the case under Special Powers Act with Airport police station around 11:15pm on Tuesday, accusing of negligence. The case was filed against nine Bangladesh Biman engineers over a technical glitch that forced the plane carrying Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to make the emergency landing on November 23 at Ashgabat International Airport in the capital of Turkmenistan. The plane was carrying 99 passengers including the premier, four cockpit crews, 20 cabin crews and four aircraft engineers.
