Seventeen fire fighting units rushed in and doused the blaze, fire service control room duty officer Ataur Rahman confirmed it to the Dhaka Tribune on Monday morning.
He said the fire broke out at 1am and fire fighters doused it around 3:50am.
However, the cause of the fire and the extent of damage could not be known immediately.
