The services were suspended around 6:45am, said Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Aricha Sector Deputy General Manager Sheikh Mahmud Nasim.
Some 10 ferries loaded with vehicles were anchored at Daulatdia and Paturia ghats.
