American hamburger and fast food restaurant chain McDonald’s has allegedly tricked a Muslim family to have pork at their Point Mallard Water Park outlet in Alabama’s Decatur, reports The Independent.
An advocacy group claimed a worker of the outlet deliberately hid bacon in a Muslim family’s chicken sandwiches.
According to Khaula Hadeed, head of the Alabama chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the act of the McDonald’s staff caused one adult of the family to vomit twice.
The family, hailing from New York, ordered 14 chicken sandwiches from McDonald’s takeaway and found different taste from the regular ones as they knew the taste of McChicken at McDonald’s.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is reviewing CCTV cameras of the incident and has called for the dismissal of any staff found to have been involved.
However, McDonald's denied the claim when the Daily Mail contacted them. According to McDonald’s, it was not an intentional act.
