Bangladesh won gold medals in shooting in all the editions of the South Asian Games except in 2006.
The shooters however, have not won a gold in the ongoing Games until the third day of the shooting events.
Commonwealth Games silver-medalist Abdullah Hel Baki bagged two bronzes in the individual and team events of shooting at the shooting range of Satdobato in Kathmandu Thursday.
The women’s team comprising Sayeda Atkia Hasan (615.7 points), Ummey Zakia Sultana (612.2) and Sharmin Akter Ratna (603.2) won silver in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions scoring a total of 1831.1 points.
Baki finished third in the 10m air rifle individual event and secured the same position along with Rabbi Hasan Munna and Mohammad Robiul Islam in the team 10m air rifle team event.
