Shojib Hossain confirmed either gold or silver in the men’s -56kg sanda event in wushu after beating the Sri Lankan opponent in the semi-final at Army Phisical Fitness Centre in Lalitpur, Kathmandu Wednesday.
Wushukas however, managed to bag five bronzes on the same day with Saki Akter, Basona Khondokar and Rita Biswas Puja in the women’s -56kg, -70kg and -60kg sanda events respectively.
Mohammad Milon Ali and Rakib Hossain bagged bronze in the men’s -60kg and -65kg sanda events respectively.
