Bangladesh Army emerged as the unbeaten champion in the National Rugby Competition after thrashing Chittagong 57-0 in the final at Government Physical Education College Field in Dhaka Friday.
This was Army’s fourth consecutive national rugby title.
Bagerhat and Dinajpur finished third and fourth respectively.
The three-day tournament featured 17 districts and one service team.
Group A comprised Army, Gaibandha, Rajshahi, Kishoreganj and Rangpur while Group B contained Chittagong, Narayanganj, Habiganj and Chadpur.
Group C had Faridpur, Dinajpur, Joypurhat and Thakurgaon while Dhaka, Barguna, Narail and Bagerhat were in Group D.
