In the ninth and final round, Bangladesh beat Kyrgyzstan 4-0. Fide Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman achieved bronze medal in the first board after garnering six points from nine games. Bangladesh squad comprised Fahad, Akib Jawad, Subrota Biswas, Nayem Haque and Noshin Anjum. Women's International Master Tanima Parveen was the official-cum-coach of the Bangladesh side.

Russia emerged champion with 16 points, India became runners-up with 15 points while Iran finished third with 14 points. A total of 30 teams from 25 countries participated in the event.
