Bangladesh beat Nepal, lose to Israel in World Youth Chess

Bangladesh earned two points after the third round in the World Youth U-16 Chess Olympiad, which is being held at Ahmedabad, Gujarat in India. The second and third round matches were held Tuesday. In the second round Bangladesh beat Nepal 4-0. Fide Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman, Akib Jawad, Subrota Biswas and Nayem Haque won against Lama Milan, Paudel Yubraj, Acharya Sushan and Khadha Samir respectively. In the third round, Bangladesh lost to Israel 1-3. Only Subrota won against FM Poleg Dan. Fahad, Akib and Nayem lost to FM Bronsten Or, Iliaguev Nisim and Zlatin Alexander respectively of Israel.
