BGB, Ansar clinch Victory Day Wrestling

Border Guard Bangladesh and Bangladesh Ansar and VDP emerged as the champions of the Victory day Wrestling Championship 2017 that concluded at Shaheed M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in Dhaka Monday. BGB became champion in the men's category with five gold medals and four silvers while Ansar clinched the women's title with five golds and four silvers. Ansar finished runners-up in the men's category with two golds, three silvers and four bronzes, while Bangladesh Army were placed second in the women's category with three golds, four silvers and five bronzes. The tournament was played in 16 different weight categories.
