Eid singles to keep an ear out for

Eid festivities have been lined with a variety of programmes and dramas being aired for the occasion. The upwards of two hundred drama series on air this Eid also came with a diverse range of music. The following list contains a list of selected singles released this Eid Ul-Fitr:


1. “Kintu Kothay”

This new song was dropped by the band “Obscure” in collaboration with Kolkata's Durbadal Biswas. “Obscure” vocalist, Tipu and Durbadal have given a voice to Amit Goswami's lyrics. The song was released on the band's YouTube channel on April 21, Friday, gaining 5017 views in four days. 

2. “Emon Hoyni Aage”

After 22 long years, Mizan sung Prince Mahmud's tune once more. The song “Emon Hoyni Aage” was released on April 21, Friday under the music label G Series. By Monday, the song was viewed upwards of 48 thousand times.


Prince Mahmud is responsible for the composition of the song lyricised by Samuel Haque. Music Arrangements were done by Sayed Sujon, while the video was produced by Shahrear Polock. 

3. “Shadha Kalo Noy, Noy Badami”

Waking from a long slumber, legendary band “Renaissance” released their new song “Shadha Kalo Noy, Noy Badami” on April 24, Monday at 5 PM. The song was posted on YouTube under Aajob Records gaining 87 views in 91 minutes since its release.


“Renaissance” member Pilu Khan composed “Badami” on the lyrics of Shaheed Mahmud Jangi. The voices on the track are Naquib Khan, Imran, Pilu Khan and Elita Karim. 

4. “Shudui Betha”

The song about heartbreak was sung by FA Sumon, released on April 23, Sunday, under the label Agniveena. “Shudui Betha” had nearly 17,000 views within 22 hours of its release. Shohag Waziulla is the writer of the song directed by Antor Hasan, with Alif and Maisha as cast. 

5. “Darale Duaarey”

Giving new life to this song written by Kazi Nazrul Islam, Coke Studio Bangla released the “Darale Duaarey” on April 21st, Friday. The song has been trending on YouTube since its release, reaching 12 lakh 60 thousand views by the afternoon of the 21st. 


With new music produced by Arnob and composition by Shuvendu Das Shuvo, this old song was sung by Ishaan and Nandita.
