Dhallywood actor Shamsunnahar Smriti, better known as Pori Moni, has been served a legal notice over her marriage with fellow actor Sariful Raaz.
Jaynal Abedin, a lawyer based in Comilla, who sent the notice, said on Tuesday that he would take legal action if Pori Moni did not respond in seven working days.

“Pori Moni married Ferdous Kabir Sourav, who hails from Jessore, on April 4, 2012… She then got married to Sariful Raaz of Brahmanbaria on October 17 last year without divorcing her previous husband,” said Jaynal.
The legal notice sought to know why Pori Moni had got married again without getting a divorce, the lawyer said, terming the actor’s second marriage invalid.

“Pori Moni and Raaz have been told in the notice that if they have valid documents [of the marriage], they should bring them before the public,” he said.
